ScholarshipsEach year we help send exceptional students to band,
orchestra and vocal camps.

Badger Boys State & Badger Girls StateSponsorship
of both boy & girl chosen by their school to attend the annual
event at Ripon College (boys) & University of Wisconsin
(girls). The weeklong event teaches government in action.

Polio
Plus ProgramOur club supports Rotary
International, which has
been working to eradicate polio worldwide. This
international effort is very near success with the goal set at
year 2005.

Blood DriveRotarians
support the HUHS Blood Drive and have helped sponsor the summer
drive.

Rotary
Walk at Central Middle SchoolRotarians installed path markers and
directional signs in and around the habitat area.

Boy Scouts & Girl
ScoutsFinancial support for area scouts.

RSVP
ProgramRotarians serve as mentors for "at-risk" middle
school students. The club also supports this program on a
financial level.

Group Study Exchange
Our Rotary District sponsors adult exchanges between
countries. Our club has sponsored & hosted foreign
visiting business teams from all over the world.

Scholarships
The club awards annual, college and technical school
scholarships. Contributions to the (BEST) Better Education
Scholarship Trust Foundation. |

Tree
Planting in the Hartford CommunityRotarians assist HUHS students
in planting trees as part of this annual project.

The Health Education
CenterFinancial assistance to local schools in order for
third
graders to attend this learning center located in Milwaukee.

Vision HouseThe Hartford Rotary Club & Hartford Union High
School build a new home as a vocational experience for
students. Students are involved in building the home as well
as designing, landscaping, decorating, selling, etc. Profits
from the sale of the home are used to finance next year's project
and for student scholarships.

FoundationFinancial support continues to assist in keeping this
historic building in our community. Rotarians also give of

World
Affairs SeminarStudents are sent to a week-long conference at
Whitewater, Wisconsin where topics of international importance are
studied in depth with participating students and leaders from
around the world. |
Honors BanquetEach
year Hartford Rotary and the AAUW honors the top ten students in
each high school class at a banquet where certificates of
accomplishment and other awards are presented. Teacher of
the Year awards are presented and Rotary/AAUW students of the
month are honored.

Youth
ExchangeA year long program to study abroad. The Hartford
Rotary Club is proud to provide this opportunity to our students

Literacy ProgramThis
supports increasing literacy through a program involving new
parents.
